What's covered?
The workshops examine icons from the Ikon Black Calendars, exploring themes around their achievements, motivations and possible challenges faced along the way. We will dig into the areas of expertise of each icon, be it music, literature, politics, etc and look at how the icons’ contribution has inspired and shaped the world we live in.
Work-shops are interactive and participants will be given the opportunity to devise and create pieces using a variety of drama / performance technique.

Our workshops vary in duration from 1 day to 4 weeks.
Sessions last anything between 45 minutes to 2 hours (depending on what you have requested)
Where do sessions take place?
- School workshops usually take place onsite in the schools main hall or designated area for workshops
- Home-school workshops take place in an accessible venue to your network of home-schoolers within your borough.

What age group are the sessions for?
The workshops are designed for primary school learners: KS1 (from year 1) & KS2
Who is running the workshops ?
The workshops/ courses are ran by Ikon Black Ltd & Dramaticz UK - all facilitators / performers are experienced practitioners with backgrounds working in schools and are DBS cleared.
